Nivea In Shower Moisturizer Review

Recently, I saw a commercial on television about Nivea's In Shower Body Moisturizer Skin Conditioner. Apparently, it is supposed to soften and condition your skin. I'm not really sure if it claims you won't need moisturizer after you've used it. Anyway, I mention it in my Getting Ready to Travel Haul Video.

Anyway, I'm a sucker for anything that helps you keep your skin soft and smooth. And I use about 5 different soaps in the bath, which is totally ridiculous because, like...who NEEDS that? I want all the smells. All of them. But I digress.

I've been using this for a while now and I still don't quite know what to make of it. Does my skin feel smoother? Yes. But I'm also using body butter and a really awesome body scrub.

Although I don't hate the product, I'm not sure that it adds much to my shower routine. It doesn't really smell all that different from Nivea's usual products (it has that SCENT-FREE lotion scent, if you know what I mean) and my skin doesn't feel much softer than usual. In fact, I do notice a slight cakey feeling on my body.

This is a product I kind of feel neutral about. I don't hate it, but I don't love it. It just kind of exists. I'd be curious to know what other people think about the product because I'm kind of wondering if I'm being too harsh or if I'm missing something magical about it? Likely, I will not repurchase this as I don't need something that does nothing to my routine.

Looks very gimmicky if you know what I mean, the idea is lovely but not sure it would do much and after reading your review it convinced me as much! great post :)
